Sunday School
The Sunday School department of First Baptist Church offers opportunities for Bible study and discussions for all ages from preschool to senior citizens. Our goal is that the Word of God be written on the hearts of every member and that regualr Bible study becomes an integral part of each life.
The FBC Woman's Ministry seeks to encourage women to find meaningful relationships with other women and to enrich their lives by providing training and worship opportunities that will help them apply God's Word to their many roles within their own homes, church and community.

Being a part of a Women on Mission group is one way we can serve our missions call. It's exciting to be a woman on mission.Your are invited to attend WOM meetings --
2nd Tuesday each month at 10:00 am in the Family Life Center
4th Tuesday each month at 2:00 pm at the Buffalo Nursing Home for a birthday party for the residents
The second Saturday of each month at 8:00 am our men meet for breakfast and a time of fellowship together. Join us in the dining room of the Family Life Center for the best breakfast you've had all month.
The purpose of the tape ministry is to distribute audio tapes of the Sunday worship services to the ill or home-bound so that they may receive the spiritual uplift from the music and sermons which they would otherwise miss. Also, if you miss church on Sunday call Melva Waters at 322-4671 or leave a message for her at the church office and she will see that you get a tape of the morning's events.
If you are a senior adult or single parent mom, and you have some chores that need to be done around your house that you are unable to do yourself, give one of the deacons a call, and they will try to help you or find help for you. If you can not reach a deacon, please call the church office.

First Baptist is supporting a mission effort in Honduras with various material needs and medical help. The church sponsors a trip each summer to provide both physical and spiritual help to the ministry there as needed.
